Sohshin blades are forged on the beautiful island of Shikoku. It’s the smallest of the 4 large islands, located on the Pacific side of the largest island, Honshu. Shikoku is known for its hot springs, shrines and famous historical figures. Sohshin was born in Koichi, Shikoku. Knives from this area are known as Tosa-bohcho (Tosa-knives). Tosa-bohcho are widely recognized within Japan for their outstanding craftsmanship. Sohshin comes in three blade sizes, 6.5”, 7.10” and 8.3” Please see below for specifics and pricing.
